In 1966 the Corinthia Palace Hotel Company Ltd (Malta) was incorporated and in 1968 the inauguration of the Corinthia Palace Hotel by HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh heralded Corinthia's debut as one of the World’s Foremost Luxury Hotels.
